SS Interprise NX Class
The NX Class starships were the final product of Earth's "Warp 5"
project. These were Earth's first "High-Warp" starships. Though
not designed for combat, the NX starships were Earth's most formatable
weapon platform prior to the Romulan War.
This fact has lead many historians to speculate that the primary
purpose of the first Romulan attack on Earth was to destroy
the first block of NX Class starships before they were completed.
